Terms and Conditions of Service
Below are the terms and conditions for using the sms-verification-number.com service (hereinafter the “SMS SERVICE” or the “Service”) by the client (hereinafter the “Client” or the “User”). Please read them carefully.
This Public Offer of https://sms-verification-number.com/ (hereinafter the “Offer”) is an official proposal by SMS SERVICE to the User to conclude an agreement for the provision of intermediary and technical services on the terms set out below.
The agreement for the provision of intermediary and technical services between SMS SERVICE and the User is concluded by accepting this Offer. Acceptance of the Offer is carried out in the manner specified in the Offer.
By accepting the Offer, the User confirms that they have fully read and understood the terms of the Offer and of the service agreement concluded on its basis.
PREAMBLE
The agreement resulting from acceptance of the Offer may be concluded by Users from different countries, subject to the restrictions set out in the Offer.

The actions specified in the Offer that the User performs in order to accept the Offer in full. Acceptance of the Offer is full and unconditional. Once the Offer is accepted, an agreement for the provision of Services by SMS SERVICE in favor of the User is deemed concluded. |

1. SUBJECT OF THE OFFER
1.1. This Offer governs how the Agreement is concluded and how the Services are provided.
2. AMENDMENTS TO THE OFFER
2.1. SMS SERVICE may, at its sole discretion and at any time, amend the text of the Offer, including the Agreement.
2.2. SMS SERVICE publishes the updated version of the Offer immediately after any changes are made. The User undertakes, at their own risk, to regularly check the Offer for updates (at least once every 14 days) and bears all risks associated with breaching the amended terms of the Offer and the Agreement.
3. ACCEPTANCE OF THE OFFER
3.1. The User accepts the Offer by performing the following actions:
3.1.1. Checking the box during Registration next to the statement “I have read and agree to the terms of the Public Offer of sms-verification-number.com”.
3.2. By accepting the Offer, the User represents and warrants that:
3.2.1. They have reached the age of 18 (and the age of majority in their country of residence), and there are no circumstances that prevent them from fully performing their obligations under the Offer and the Agreement.
3.2.2. The law of the User’s country of residence allows them to enter into the Agreement, order the Services and receive the results of the Services. If the User’s applicable law prohibits them from entering into the Agreement, such User is not allowed to conclude the Agreement and must immediately leave the Site.
3.2.3. They have fully read the text of the Offer and understand its terms.
3.2.4. Their acceptance of the Offer is full and unconditional. Partial acceptance or acceptance “subject to conditions” is not allowed.
3.2.5. They are aware of their right to propose amendments to the Offer and to the Agreement concluded as a result of acceptance of the Offer by sending such proposals to the SMS SERVICE e-mail address specified in the Offer; and that, after accepting the Offer, the User is deemed to have exercised this right and can no longer propose amendments to the Offer or the Agreement.
3.3. The User may not accept the Offer, conclude the Agreement, order the Services or receive the results of the Services if any of the above warranties are not fulfilled.
3.3.1. If, at the time of acceptance of the Offer, all of the above warranties were fulfilled, but during performance of the Agreement one or more of such warranties ceases to be true, the User must immediately stop using the Site, ordering and receiving the results of the Services, and promptly notify SMS SERVICE. The User must then follow the instructions received from SMS SERVICE, and SMS SERVICE may delete the User’s Account and immediately terminate the Agreement.
4. REGISTRATION PROCEDURE
4.1. To order and receive the results of the Services, the User must create a Personal Account. The Personal Account becomes available after completion of the Registration procedure.
4.2. Registration procedure.
4.2.1. To register, the User must follow the link: sms-verification-number.com/ru/register/. The link may differ depending on the language selected by the User (for example, for Registration in Russian, the link may look as follows: sms-verification-number.com
4.2.2. Using the Site’s functionality, the User enters their Registration Data and confirms the chosen password.
4.2.2.1. By entering the Registration Data, the User represents and warrants that:
4.2.2.1.1. The Registration Data entered will be complete and accurate.
4.2.2.1.2. The User is and will remain the sole and legitimate owner of the e-mail address (E-mail). Use of another person’s e-mail address is not permitted.
4.2.2.1.3. They understand that all actions performed using the specified e-mail address are deemed to be performed by the User, and the User bears all risks arising from this warranty. If the User loses control of their e-mail address, they must immediately notify SMS SERVICE.
4.2.2.1.4. They are aware of the need to take appropriate security measures to prevent third-party access to their e-mail account.
4.2.2.2. After entering the Registration Data, the User must fully read and agree to the terms of this Offer and the Personal Data and Cookie Processing Policy by checking the relevant box.
4.2.2.3. The final step of Registration is confirming completion of the Registration procedure by following a link of the form https://sms-verification-number.com/en/home/ .
4.2.2.4. After following the link, Registration is deemed successfully completed and a Personal Account is created for the User. The User can then access the Personal Account using their Login Credentials.
4.3. SMS SERVICE may refuse Registration in the following cases:
4.3.1. SMS SERVICE has grounds to believe that:
4.3.1.1. The Registration Data entered by the User is inaccurate;
4.3.1.2. The Site is being or will be used by the User in breach of the warranties provided (including the warranty of compliance with applicable law);
4.3.1.3. In the opinion of SMS SERVICE, the User is engaging in activities that harm or may harm the reputation of SMS SERVICE.
4.4. SMS SERVICE may cancel an already completed Registration regardless of its duration. Registration may be cancelled on the same grounds as refusal of Registration.
5. SUBJECT MATTER OF THE AGREEMENT
5.1. Under the Agreement, the User is given the opportunity to order SMS SERVICE’s Services to provide technical access to the text of SMS messages received on a Used Number, and the User pays SMS SERVICE a fee for this.
5.2. In providing the Services, SMS SERVICE acts as an intermediary between the User and the mobile network operator.
5.3. The term and Tariffs for the Services are published on the Site.
5.4. The Services may also be provided via the service API.
6. TERM OF THE AGREEMENT
6.1. The Agreement is deemed concluded from the moment the Offer is accepted and remains in force until the Parties have fulfilled their obligations under the Agreement or the Personal Account is deleted.
7. CONDITIONS FOR PROVIDING THE SERVICES
7.1. The Services are provided under the terms of the Agreement.
7.1.1. For any matters not covered by the Agreement, the User is guided by the information on the Site. Such information forms an integral part of the Agreement. In case of any inconsistency, the information on the Site prevails.
7.2. The User is prohibited from mass number scanning (“farming”) to register accounts or perform other actions that degrade the quality of the Services.
For the purposes of this document, farming means automated or manual attempts to cycle through numbers characterized by an excessive number of registrations and a low success rate of activations.
If farming is detected, SMS SERVICE may block the User’s account without prior notice and without refund.
7.3 API Usage Restrictions
7.3.1 Use of SMS SERVICE via API is subject to these Terms and the Acceptable Use and Anti-Fraud Policy.
7.3.2 Automated or high-frequency activities, cycling through numbers, scraping, or attempts to bypass rate limits, are strictly prohibited.
7.3.3 SMS SERVICE may impose rate limits on API requests and may suspend or terminate API access if misuse is detected or if the User fails to comply with these rules.
7.3.4 SMS SERVICE is not responsible for losses or damage caused by a User’s misuse or incorrect implementation of API functions.
7.4 Service Limits and Non‑Use of Numbers
7.4.1 SMS SERVICE reserves the right to limit the number of simultaneous active numbers per User and to restrict access to certain countries or services, including high‑risk categories such as financial services.
7.4.2 If a User repeatedly acquires numbers without receiving any SMS, or repeatedly cancels orders without receiving SMS, SMS SERVICE may temporarily suspend the User’s access or restrict access to premium and disposable numbers. Continued misuse may lead to permanent suspension.
8. PERSONAL ACCOUNT
8.1. After Registration, the User gains access to the Personal Account.
8.2. Services are ordered and results of the Services are obtained via the Personal Account functionality.
8.3. SMS SERVICE may suspend the User’s access to the Personal Account in the following cases:
8.3.1. SMS SERVICE identifies grounds for cancelling the User’s Registration.
8.3.2. SMS SERVICE detects suspicious attempts to enter the Login Credentials (unauthorized access to the Personal Account).
8.3.3. SMS SERVICE receives a request from a competent authority and/or a third party regarding the User’s activities.
8.3.4. On other grounds at the discretion of SMS SERVICE.
8.4. If access to the Personal Account is suspended, the following consequences apply:
8.4.1. The User temporarily loses the ability to access the Personal Account using their Login Credentials.
8.4.2. To restore access to the Personal Account, the User may contact SMS SERVICE by e-mail.
8.4.3. Upon receiving a request from the User, SMS SERVICE sends the User a request for additional information.
8.4.3.1. A request for information may also be initiated by SMS SERVICE on its own initiative. In all cases, the User must act in accordance with the requirements set out in SMS SERVICE’s request.
8.4.4. If the User complies with all SMS SERVICE requirements and if there are no other grounds for suspending access to the Personal Account, SMS SERVICE will restore access to the Personal Account.
8.5. SMS SERVICE may permanently delete the User’s Personal Account in the following cases:
8.5.1. Upon receiving a request from the User by e-mail.
8.5.2. If the reasons for suspending access to the Personal Account have not been remedied by the User within 30 (Thirty) days from the date SMS SERVICE sent its request.
8.6. If the Personal Account is deleted, the following consequences apply:
8.6.1. The User permanently loses the ability to access the Personal Account using their Login Credentials.
8.6.1.1. At the same time, SMS SERVICE may retain information about all actions performed by the User via the Personal Account in accordance with the Personal Data and Cookie Processing Policy.
8.6.2. Refund of any funds remaining on the User’s Balance is made in accordance with the relevant section of the Agreement.
8.7. User responsibility for account security
8.7.1. The User must keep their login credentials confidential, including but not limited to: login, password, e-mail address, API keys, access tokens, and must not share them with third parties while taking all reasonable measures to protect their Personal Account. Granting third parties access to the Personal Account is treated as actions of the User and constitutes a breach of the terms of the Offer.
8.7.2. All actions performed via the Personal Account are deemed to have been performed by the User, regardless of who actually accessed the Personal Account.
8.7.3. SMS SERVICE is not liable for any operations carried out in the Personal Account before receiving written notice from the User of a compromise of their credentials.
8.7.4. The User must promptly notify SMS SERVICE in the event of loss, compromise or suspected unauthorized access to the Personal Account. A notice is considered valid only if the User sends a written message to the official SMS SERVICE e-mail address specified in the Offer.
8.7.5. The provisions of this section equally apply to the use of the service API, including operations performed using API keys.
8.7.6. SMS SERVICE reserves the right to request identity verification from the User in the following cases:
- suspicious or high-risk activity;
- large volume of transactions;
- complaints from third parties;
- chargeback or payment disputes.
Failure to provide requested information within 5 business days may result in account suspension or termination.
8.7.7 AML and Risk Monitoring
SMS SERVICE operates an internal risk monitoring system. Transactions or accounts may be flagged based on abnormal usage patterns, high transaction volumes or links to previously blocked accounts. If suspicious activity is detected, SMS SERVICE may freeze the User’s balance, restrict withdrawals or refunds and request additional verification documents. Failure to provide requested information within five business days may result in account suspension.
9. SMS SERVICE FEES
9.1. In return for the Services, the User pays a fee to SMS SERVICE. The amount of the fee is set by the Tariffs.
9.2. The fee is paid using the payment methods available on the Site.
9.3. Funds deposited by the User are displayed in the “Balance” (or equivalent) section of the User’s Personal Account and are reduced as Services are ordered. Once the prepaid amount has been fully used, new Services cannot be ordered.
9.4. Funds are debited from the Balance as follows:
9.4.1. The User selects a Used Number for SMS Reception;
9.4.2. The User’s Balance is reduced by the cost of the Service;
9.4.3. The User is then provided with the ability to receive SMS to the selected Used Number.
9.5. The fee for maintaining the User’s Personal Account is charged starting from the third month after Registration and amounts to 50 (Fifty) Russian rubles per month. If the Balance is positive, SMS SERVICE may, at its sole discretion, deduct the monthly Account maintenance fee from the User’s Balance.
9.6. SMS SERVICE may decide to grant a personal discount to the User or completely waive the Account maintenance fee for the User.
9.7. In cases determined by SMS SERVICE (for example, in the event of repeated violations of the service rules or when working via the API), the User must pay a security deposit under conditions specified by SMS SERVICE.
9.7.1. The security deposit is recorded separately from the User’s main Balance, is not used to pay for Services and is not shown in the Personal Account Balance.
9.7.2. Penalties for violations of the service terms may be charged against the security deposit. The amount of such penalties is determined by SMS SERVICE.
9.7.3. If the security deposit is depleted, SMS SERVICE may suspend provision of the Services and block access to the Personal Account until a new deposit is made.
9.7.4. If no violations occur, the deposit may be returned to the User or credited to their main Balance upon request after they stop using the service.
10. PAYMENT SECURITY
10.1. When topping up the Balance with a bank card, payment processing (including card number entry) takes place on a secure page of a certified payment processing system. Payment security is guaranteed by the processing center. This means that the User’s confidential data (card details, registration data, etc.) are not transferred to SMS SERVICE; they are fully protected during processing, and no one, including SMS SERVICE, can access the User’s card details or other payment data.
10.2. Card data is handled in accordance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) developed by the international payment systems Visa and MasterCard, which ensures secure processing of the User’s bank card details. The data transmission technology used guarantees security for card transactions through the use of TLS (Transport Layer Security), Verified by Visa, SecureCode, MIR Accept and closed banking networks with the highest level of protection.
11. REFUND OF FUNDS
11.1. SMS SERVICE processes refund operations in favor of the User as follows:
11.1.1. The User sends a refund request to the SMS SERVICE e-mail address;
11.1.2. SMS SERVICE reviews the request within up to 5 business days;
11.1.3. If the Service was not provided or was provided improperly, SMS SERVICE may offer ways to remedy the Service if the reason for the refund is non-provision or malfunctioning of the Service;
11.1.4. SMS SERVICE determines the refund amount based on the records of debits from the User’s Balance in the Personal Account;
11.1.5. SMS SERVICE processes the refund only to the payment details originally used by the User for the payment.
11.1.6. No refunds are made for transactions performed from the Personal Account using valid login credentials, except in cases expressly specified by SMS SERVICE.
11.1.7. Any chargeback, payment dispute, or attempt to reverse a completed transaction without prior contact with SMS SERVICE will be considered abuse. Accounts involved in chargeback activity may be permanently blocked and remaining balance forfeited.
11.1.8 No Refunds for Third‑Party Bans
SMS SERVICE does not provide refunds if a third‑party service bans or blocks a User’s account after using a virtual number from SMS SERVICE; such bans are beyond our control.
12. ACCEPTABLE USE AND ANTI-FRAUD POLICY
12.1 Prohibited Activities
User agrees NOT to use the Service for any of the following purposes:
a) Fraudulent or deceptive activities, including but not limited to:

phishing or smishing

account takeover
-
identity theft
-
financial scams
-
unauthorized access to third-party accounts
b) Creation of accounts for illegal purposes.
c) Receiving messages related to:

spam campaigns
-
harassment
-
threats
-
blackmail
-
distribution of malware
d) Circumventing third-party security systems, KYC procedures, or regional restrictions.
e) Receiving OTP/2FA codes for accounts that the User does not own or is not explicitly authorized to access.
f) Reselling or redistributing numbers without written permission from SMS SERVICE.
12.2 Monitoring and Detection
SMS SERVICE reserves the right to:

monitor usage patterns

analyze SMS content metadata

block suspicious transactions

suspend accounts engaged in high-risk behavior
12.3 Account Suspension
If suspicious or prohibited activity is detected, SMS SERVICE may:

temporarily freeze the account

request identity verification
-
permanently block the account
-
confiscate remaining balance
-
share information with payment processors or authorities
12.4 Cooperation with authorities
Logs, IP addresses, payment details, and activity history may be provided to law enforcement agencies upon lawful request.
12.5 Reporting abuse
Users and third parties may report violations via:
All reports will be investigated within 5 business days.
12.6 The Service must not be used for verification or access to:
a) banking systems and online banking;
b) payment systems and e-wallets;
c) cryptocurrency exchanges;
d) government services;
e) medical, insurance, or other sensitive personal data services.
Any attempt to use the Service for such purposes may result in immediate account termination without refund.
12.7 Prohibited Use for Paid Subscriptions
The Service may not be used for signing up to paid subscriptions or paid content services. Attempts to use SMS SERVICE numbers to initiate paid subscriptions will result in termination of the session and may lead to permanent suspension.
12.8 Blacklists and Prohibited Keywords
SMS SERVICE maintains an internal blacklist of prohibited senders—including banks, credit institutions, payment providers and similar organizations—and a list of prohibited keywords (e.g., “credit”, “loan”, “паспорт”, “деньги”) that indicate prohibited financial activities. SMS messages originating from blacklisted senders or containing prohibited keywords will be blocked and will not be delivered to the.
12.9 Third‑Party Complaints
SMS SERVICE may receive complaints from service providers, payment processors, telecom operators or other third parties. In response to such complaints, SMS SERVICE may temporarily suspend or permanently terminate the User’s account, request additional information from the User, or provide logs and account information to the complaining party or authorities as required by
12.10 Prohibited use and blacklists – clarification
In addition to the categories listed in Clause 12.6, the Service may restrict or block numbers used for high‑risk or regulated services. SMS SERVICE publishes and updates lists of senders and keywords that are blocked; Users agree to comply with these restrictions.
13. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION
13.1. The relationship between the Parties under the Agreement is governed by the law of Singapore.
13.2. A pre-trial claims procedure is mandatory for the Parties. Claims must be reviewed within 60 (Sixty) calendar days from the date of receipt. A claim is deemed properly submitted if a duly executed and signed claim is sent by registered mail to the address of the Party specified in the Offer (for SMS SERVICE) or to the e-mail address provided during Registration (for the User).
13.3. If the Parties are unable to reach an out-of-court settlement, the dispute must be submitted to a competent court in accordance with the law of Singapore.
14. LIABILITY OF THE PARTIES
14.1. Unless otherwise provided in the Offer, the User acknowledges and agrees that the Site is provided for the purpose of delivering the Services on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis, without any warranties, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted availability, etc. SMS SERVICE does not warrant that the Site will operate error-free, that its functionality will meet the User’s expectations, or that it will be free from defects, viruses or other harmful components.
14.2. Under no circumstances will SMS SERVICE be liable for any direct or indirect losses or damages of any kind (including, without limitation, loss of income or profit, or loss or corruption of data).
14.3. The User undertakes to:
13.3.1. Compensate SMS SERVICE for any losses caused by payments recovered from SMS SERVICE by third parties, including administrative fines imposed by supervisory and regulatory authorities, incurred by SMS SERVICE due to the User’s breach of the Agreement or applicable law.
15. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
15.1. SMS SERVICE or its counterparties hold exclusive rights to the Site and all of its content, and all such rights are protected.
15.2. The User may not perform any actions with the Site or its content other than those required to order Services and receive the results of the Services.
16. FINAL PROVISIONS
16.1. If any provision of the Offer cannot be applied in full due to legal restrictions, such provision shall be replaced with a provision that most closely reflects its original intent and shall apply in its amended form (including to relationships that have already arisen).
16.2. If any provision of the Offer is held invalid in whole or in part, this does not affect the validity of the remaining provisions of the Offer or of the Offer and the Agreement as a whole.
